MUTATE BRITAIN EXHIBITION

Mutate Britain have just opened their second 'One Foot in the Grove' art exhibition this week, it's under the Westway in Ladbroke Grove. Here's a few pics of the wall I painted down there - you can see it (and work from nearly 100 other artists) until 20th December. Shows open fri, sat, sun.

PAINTING FOR DISNEY

I was recently commissioned to do some live painting for Disney which was used for a launch party.

There were a few famous faces at the event, including George Sampson, Asher D, Michelle Collins and a cute looking lady from the Pussy Cat Dolls ( anyone know her name?)

The book has been put together by New York based KET, published by Michael O'Mara Books.

I had the privilege of meeting the Diversity dancers last week (winners of Britain's got talent) when some of the paintings from the 'Size Matters' exhibition were used for an MTV Base video shoot.

EXHIBITION OPENING NIGHT

Last night was the opening of 'Size Matters', my first solo show in London. Huge thanks to everyone who came down and supported the cause. Loads of friends turned up from far and wide, as far away as Norfolk and Cape Town.

Some really positive feedback on my work, so I am one happy man today!

The show is on until this Monday 13th July, 12 - 4pm, so if you can make it it would be great to see you.

Building a modern day community of collective creativity.

STREET FEST is a new breed of festival where the onus is on promoting and merging creative talents. STREETFEST is taking it back to the 'old skool', blending the spirit and soul of those nostalgic rocking block parties, with creative flair and modern trends. STREETFEST actively involves visitors in the day's events by creating an interactive experience!

STREETFEST will be held in the pioneering surroundings of Cordy House, Shoreditch (www.cordyhouse.co.uk). With ten hours of innovative showcases- featuring music, live art, films, hair and fashion shows plus fixed gear biking, rollerblade and skateboard demonstrations, all from some of the UK's top collectives, this is not an event to miss!

Key participants in STREETFEST include Lovenskate - spreading the word of skateboard culture, Kingdom- offering a British perspective on rollerblading eccentricity and Fixed Gear London- showcasing bicycle culture. The art focus comes from Secret Wars delivering timed live art battles and a collection of fine and street artists including Andy Seize, Sichi and Drunkpark will be painting throughout the day. Holic and Rhil are the powerhouse promoters behind the music programming during the day. Film contents come in the form of three innovative collectives-Uk Adapta, Stomper and Hekate Films, with additional skate and biking films being shown.

Stalls promoting international food, emerging clothing brands, books, prints, art toys and collectables will also be participating on the day.

Each space will have its own identity and feel, so be prepared to enter the quirky and wonderful world that is STREETFEST.

A field in Kent

Sometimes you just have to escape the city. So off we went to sunny Kent to spend the day painting. Once we arrived, I was met by team leader 'Blaze' who looked after us. It was a lovely day, until the rain and wind came full pelt! However I did my thing, saw some lovely horses and checked out the dedicated gardeners busy on their allotments.

It's the first time I've painted in a farmers field and the horses were pretty excited to be sharing their turf with The Seize!

Many thanks to Liz for transportation and some wonderful pics and thanks to Blaze and his Mrs for a well deserved cuppa at the end.

I've been out painting for the past couple of days with my friends REDS and MERC. This piece is down in Tufnell Park, North London on a housing estate.

It features one of my favorite characters Daffy Duck, steering a rocket over 'SEIZE' letters.
